Assisted Living Centre of Excellence

The five provincial industry associations that represent seniors' assisted living are establishing an assisted living industry "best practices" body, the Assisted Living Centre of Excellence. The Centre, with consumer input, will play a key role in assisting the Registrar by:

  • developing and promoting best practices for the operation of assisted living residences;
  • investigating certain types of complaints on behalf of the Registrar and reporting back; and
  • educating, supporting and mentoring residence operators.
