MSP Resource Manual for Physicians

The MSP Resource Manual for Physicians is being updated for 2006. Each section will be added to this web page as it is completed.

Section 1: MSP Contacts (PDF 91Kb) - includes contact information for MSP and other Ministry of Health programs.
Section 5: Physician Enrollment and Billing Procedures (PDF 229Kb) - includes information on how to enroll, cliams processing, office operations, rural programs, reciprocal billing and billing other agencies.
Section 6: MSP Billing Guidelines (PDF 330Kb) - provides guidelines for general billing, billing emergency visits and out-of-office hours premiums, and billing specialty services.

For definitive information on fee-for-service billing codes and amounts, consult the current MSC Payment Schedule. If a discrepancy exists between the information contained in the manual and the MSC Payment Schedule, the information in the payment schedule will prevail.
